Before existing as a network, TELAR was friendship, conversation, political bets, questions and coming together.
This space was born as a first collective fabric to think about what it means to build, from Latin America, a web of political ecology capable of sustaining life, strengthening alternatives to development and connecting struggles, knowledge and territorial hopes.

We gather to share questions, bets and common paths. To recognize that, although many re-existence initiatives flourish in different territories, they often remain isolated, fragmented or invisible. Faced with this, we decided to bet on the construction of a Latin American fabric that circulates experiences, memories, tools and affections.
TELAR - Tejido Latinoamericano de Re-Existencias - emerges then as a gathering in movement: a network that seeks to connect graduates, students, organizations, movements and community processes committed to other ways of inhabiting, caring for and defending life.
Weaving is not only joining threads: it is learning to sustain ourselves collectively.
