TEJIENDO RE-EXISTENCIAS - Public Launching of TELAR: Latin American Weaving of Re-existences
TEJENDO RE-EXISTENCIAS - Public Launching of TELAR: Tejido Latinoamericano de Reexistencias
There is a future in Latin America: there are proposals, practices and alternatives that are born from communities, territories, movements, classrooms and organizational processes. The problem is another: many of these alternatives remain isolated, with little regional circulation, without a common archive, without infrastructure to meet and strengthen themselves. How to nurture hope from the territories?
TELAR - Tejido Latinoamericano en Re-Existencias - was born for that: to weave a network of political ecology that connects alternatives to development from the territories, and makes them more visible, more shared, more replicable, stronger.
A network of political ecology that connects graduates, students, movements and organizations to strengthen alternatives to development from the territories. In 2026 we promote three programs: Popular Schools of Political Ecology (EPEP), research and a living library.
We will talk with Horacio Machado Araoz (Researcher, Argentina) and Tatiana Roa Avendaño (Former Vice Minister of Environment, Colombia), apart from presenting TELAR's programs: podcast, situated research, living library and web.
