About their trajectory
Jacqueline Yarupay Castro, "Kaapotɨ 🌺" (flower of the mountain in Guarani) was born in the Bolivian Gran Chaco, territory that inhabits her memory, her sensitivity and her journey. She is a Tourism and Sociology specialist, a walker of community processes together with women and indigenous peoples of the lowlands, weaving links between territory, identity, interculturality and defense of life.
Her journey is born from an affective and territorial connection with the Gran Chaco and its peoples, from where she builds a look linked to Political Ecology, understanding the land, the community and nature as living spaces of memory, resistance and reciprocity.
