About their trajectory

I am a Kichwa Indigenous woman from the town of Santa Clara, Ecuador. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from the Amazonian State University and recently completed a master’s degree in Political Ecology and Alternatives to Development at the Simón Bolívar Andean University in Quito. My career combines scientific research with the territorial and cultural defense of my community, integrating ancestral and academic knowledge to propose alternative ways of life in the face of socio-environmental challenges. My commitment is to contribute, through science and the Indigenous worldview, to the construction of a just and sustainable future.
