Environmental Engineer

About their trajectory

I am from the highlands of Peru, in the department of Puno. I identify as an Indigenous person of Quechua descent. I studied Environmental Engineering and earned a master’s degree in political ecology and alternatives to development at UASB. I am passionate about working with communities, learning from their knowledge, and strengthening their connection to nature. I enjoy composting, planting native species, and learning about agroecology and sustainable practices based on respect for the environment.
I also like to participate in volunteer work, reforestation, and environmental activism, making a positive contribution to my community. I consider myself a cheerful, empathetic, and sensitive person who is always willing to help. Additionally, I enjoy traveling, discovering new perspectives, and constantly learning.
