About their trajectory
Dahiana has built a trajectory committed to organizing and popular education. She began her activism in 2011 as a member of ANDES, the National Association of High School Students, and continued her organizing work between 2018 and 2020 in PROES, the Student Organization Process. That same year, she served as national spokesperson for UNESS, the National Union of Higher Education Students, consolidating herself as a voice of the university student movement at the national level.
At the institutional level, she represented students before the Headquarters Council of the National University of Colombia during the 2017-2018 period, participating in the university's decision-making spaces.
His commitment to popular education was deepened through his involvement as a member of the Asociación Cultural Casa del Chonraduro (ACCC) between 2020 and 2023, and with the co-founding, in 2021, of the Preicfes Comunitario y Popular Paulo Freire, a self-managed space aimed at opening the doors of higher education to young people from low-income sectors.
