About their trajectory
Stefanía Vega, is a social anthropologist (UAHC), master in research in political ecology and alternatives to development (UASB), graduated in semiotics and discourse analysis (U. of Chile). She has diverse interests that arise from the link between different cultures, ecology, and the rights to be protected in both cases. She has integrated collectives for the defense of territories, waters and glaciers, in permanent vulnerability against the various extractive onslaughts that are imposed.
For some years she has been an inhabitant of Wallmapu, Araucanía region, learning Mapuzugun (Mapuche language) from this, she articulates contributing in the implementation of instances that promote their revitalization.
