Uruguay

Small country, big question: to develop at the expense of life or to reinvent itself from it?
Uruguay usually sells itself to the world as the tidy showcase of the Southern Cone. "We feed 30 million", repeats the official discourse. And I wish it were true, but we know that this model has been leaving tired rivers, soils that ask for a truce and an ecosystem of pastures that can no longer resist silence.

That is why the Uruguay plot joins this TELAR to weave uncomfortable questions and create collective answers. We know that not everything shines in "Natural Uruguay"; but we also know that this territory has a memory of struggle, a culture of organization and people willing to reinvent what is possible.

Another Uruguay is being woven here: post-extractivist, feminist, caring for water and allied to the territories.
